Happy Birthday Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation
- RMEF rolled over its 41st anniversary of ensuring the future of elk, other wildlife, hunting and conservation
Elk Country Visitor Center Upgrade
- The exhibit area, including the wildlife diorama, will get a state-of-the-art upgrade to create a more immersive and inspiring experience for visitors of all ages
- RMEF and partners allotted $5,083,371 in 2024 funding to enhance wildlife habitat, bolster wildlife management and support youth shooting sports organizations, hunter education and mentored hunts in Oregon
- RMEF and partners supplied $4,197,169 in 2024 funding to improve wildlife habitat and support wildlife management efforts, youth archery and trap shooting programs, and mentored hunting and educational conservation programs
- RMEF supplied funding support for 3,100-acre land conservation and access project, and will offer input on a recreational and forest management plan
- RMEF contributed $6.6 million in funding for a bevy of wildlife research, conservation and habitat restoration projects
- RMEF supplied earlier funding for vegetation and fencing projects that set the stage for this larger effort
- RMEF offered a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person(s) involved in a high-profile elk poaching case
- Wyoming hunters accessed 105,000 acres of private land in 2024 thanks to RMEF funding for Wyoming’s Access Yes! program
