A leisurely drive through Evergreen, Colorado, ended up with a trip to the body shop. That’s because the small car got a little too close to a bull elk and his harem.
Denise Beese drove the car and can be heard doing some commentary as her teenage daughter shot the video. After passing several cows, a bull charged the car and struck it multiple times.
“Elk are in rut. Remind people not to mess with elk. They can be very dangerous,” Denise’s husband, Mark Beese, told KCNC-TV. “This bull and four others were bugling all night. They are in our back yard now. All bugling.”
