A federal judge invalidated a previous U.S. Forest Service decision that allows the Wyoming Game and Fish Department to feed elk near Jackson Hole.
According to an Associated Press report, the Alkali Creek Feedground issue now reverts back to the Forest Service for consideration.
Wildlife officials use the feedground to help elk get through the often long, harsh winter months. There are currently 23 different feedgrounds utilized across Wyoming.
