A man from south-central Montana could go to prison for 25 years, pay a $250,000 fine and lose his hunting/fishing privileges for life after being charged with poaching elk and other wildlife.
According to ABC-Fox Montana, Brandon Schuhen of Yellowstone County faces five felony counts. Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks wardens conducted an investigation and determined Schuhen did not have valid licenses but killed three bull elk and two wild turkeys. He also reportedly admitted to killing two antelope bucks and one mule deer buck.
Investigators interviewed witnesses and scoured his text messages and social media accounts to further confirm the incidents.
