Okay, what would you do if this happened to you? Would you remain calm?
That’s exactly what 14-year-old Davin Grunow did even though a young black bear scaled the tree and entered his treestand. It happened near Bonnyville, Alberta, Canada.
““He got close, and handled himself unbelievably,” Mark White, a family friend who videotaped the incident, told Global News. “We always know, when we go in the stand, if the bear comes up the tree, stay calm. Show respect.”
The cub eventually descended to the ground below where it rejoined its mother and another cub.
