The Munford High School archery team in Munford, Alabama, got a boost after receiving a $2,721 grant from the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. Members of the Cold Water Mountain Chapter presented the check to the squad.
The grant funding comes from RMEF’s Torstenson Family Endowment (TFE). Since its establishment five years ago, the TFE provided more than $7.7 million across 37 states and one Canadian province.
The TFE was established in honor of the late Bob Torstenson, a RMEF member who had a great love of elk, wild places and spreading the hunting heritage to the next generation of hunters.
