Perhaps musical artist James Taylor said it best when he sang this:
“On the roof, it’s peaceful as can be
And there the world below don’t bother me.”
Maybe that’s what a bull elk in mind when it walked out on the roof of a cabin in Estes Park, Colorado.
The real question is how did it get there? A resident who lives across the way called KUSA-TV and said it’s really not that big of a mystery since the cabin backs right up to the mountainside and the elk can simply walk out and make an appearance ‘up on the roof.’
“Up on the roof, up on a roof
Everything is alright, everything is alright.”
